We started off April with Easter on April Fools. We watched General Conference and then spent the day with family. We went to my grandparent’s house and had an Easter egg hunt.
I watched the NCAA National Championship game with my family and got all choked up like I do every year when they play the end song and show clips from the tournament. Don’t know if it’s because I’m sad it’s over, I love sports so much, or because I love seeing these college age kids doing what they love and knowing the amazing feeling of winning. I just love it!
Kyle played in a soccer tournament with some friends this year and made it to the semi finals. It was really fun, except the freezing rain. It started raining during the midmorning and it rained the rest of the day until we left around 5:00 pm. It was still way fun to watch. I could watch Kyle play soccer all day.
We also went to the red and white game for the U of U football team. It’s a fun spring game where the team plays against each other and the fans all come together to watch. I can’t wait for Utah football to start up again.
The pups are getting along more and more everyday. Still not as much as I’d like, but I know it’s going to be a slow process. They are so opposite in personalities that it blows my mind. At least now they can lay next to each other or will occasionally play together.
Kyle celebrated his 27th birthday this month! I can’t believe it! I still feel like we are just young kids going to college, but we aren’t anymore. To celebrate we went to Tucanos, which is a tradition we do every year with his siblings.
I went blonder than I’ve ever been! It’s been crazy, but I love it.
This month I thought it’d be fun to share some of my favorite things from this last month. Whether that was a favorite post I read, some things I’ve purchased or want to purchase, etc. Enjoy!
