I cannot tell you how much I’m loving this bandana style trend. I’ve always been a big fan of adding something unique to my outfit, whether that be a hat, scarf, bandana, etc, so when this trend started, I jumped right on board. If you are a little iffy on trying new trends, I wrote a blog post with tips to help get you out of your comfort zone and try new trends. Today I am going to share with you 6 ways you can style a bandana.

Before I share how to style, I figured it’d be best to share with you the best and cheapest places to purchase these bandanas. My favorite ones are linked below (for example I found my red one worn below for only $3). I’ve also found some cute ones from Roolee and Olive Ave. They are definitely more expensive than the budget friendly options, but they have some really cute prints.

Style #1 + 2: Around Your Neck (Casual or Dressed up)

This is my definite go to for styling a bandana. I love how it can help to make any outfit pop. I fold mine into a triangle and then continue to fold it until it is completely folded over. I then wrap that around my neck and tie it in a double knot.

Style #3 + 4: In Your Hair (Low Ponytail or Bow with Hair Down or In A Bun)

This style is fun because there are so many different ways that you can style your bandana in your hair. I love wearing it around a ponytail or at the bottom of my braided hair. I also love on casual days where I haven’t washed my hair in awhile to put my hair in a bun and tie the bandana up in a double knot on top of my head. You can also style it in your life while your hair is down. For more styling tips to go days without washing your hair, read my post here.

Style #5: Around Your Purse

This one is so simple, but can really add to your outfit as a whole. It’s just another way to stand out in the crowd. I fold the bandana as described above and then tie it in a knot on the handle of my purse and let it fall down.

Style #6: Around Your Wrist

This one is fun for the summer days and nights. I just fold it up and then wrap it continually around my wrist until it is almost completely wrapped around. I then tie the ends on top of my wrist and call it good. This one is really easy, but adds a fun pop of color to your outfit.

Do you like the bandana trend? What is your favorite way to style it?
