I was given this outfit to review by Shop The Mint. All opinions are my own.
Give me an item I can wear to work and then dress another way for the weekend and I’m already 20 times more likely to buy it! That’s how I felt when I found this white blazer from Shop The Mint. It is one of those pieces that you can put on with a dress or some black dress pants and wear to the office, but then turn around for a smokin’ hot date night outfit on the weekend!
I decided to show you how I pieced together this blazer for a date night with the hubby and some tips and tricks I’ve learned for dressing up for a date!
Even now that I am married, I still love getting all dolled up for date night. Kyle and I go on a date every Friday night, which I absolutely love and look forward to every week. Some tips I’ve learned for turning your everyday outfits into date night outfits are:
- Focus on Your Accessories – When you add a fun clutch like I did here, it gives off the appearance that you are dressing up fancier than your everyday life and helps to pull your outfit all together. The clutch is on sale right now for only $20 when you use code “60OFF”! A fancier, long necklace also gives you a put together look that helps tie your entire outfit together. Fun arm candy is always a great way to dress up your wrist as well. Watches, pearls, and Alex & Ani bracelets are my go to for arm candy!
2. Heels – I love wearing heels and thank goodness Kyle is tall so I can wear them and still be shorter than he is. Heels are one of my go to shoes for date night! It adds a pop of girly and helps make me feel like I’m hot stuff! These leopard heels are one of my favorite pairs!
3. Tight Skinny Jeans – I love skinny jeans and I know that not everyone loves wearing them, but I think a good pair of jeans can go a long way! I love putting on a pair of tight jeans, especially with my heels! I also love when the jeans have a little bit of character to them, for example the holes in these add an edgy look for a dressed down, casual, but sexy vibe for date night.
