I’ve always been a fan of wearing tulle skirts, but sometimes it is hard to think of how to style them. Today I am teaming up with three other fabulous bloggers and Azazie to share with you four different ways to style a tulle skirt.
Chambray Shirt + White Tulle Skirt: Adding a cute chambray shirt to a white tulle skirt is a fun way to still have the fanciness of the tulle skirt, but the casual look of a chambray shirt. I love how it adds some color to the outfit as well and allows for you to add a pop of color with your shoe choice.
Pattern Mixing + Sky Blue Tulle Skirt: Sandy from Sandy A La Mode went for the fun and uniqueness of pattern mixing with her tulle skirt. She chose a shirt that had stripes in the front, polka dots in the back, and a floral pocket in the front.
Graphic Tee + Leather Jacket + Hot Pink Tulle Skirt: Keara from Modest Style decided to dress down her tulle skirt by giving it an extra rocker vibe by pairing it with a cute graphic tee and adding her leather jacket at times. The hot pink skirt still gave it a girly feel and tied the black in really well.
Lace Top + Turquoise Tulle Skirt: Emily from Modest Goddess styled her tulle skirt with a pretty lace top for a more dressy and feminine feel. The white shirt color also helped to showcase the pretty color of her tulle skirt, making it stand out in the best way.
The tulle skirts were provided by Azazie, a company that sells chic wedding attire for wedding parties. They have a variety of dresses and skirts for bridesmaids, brides, and even the mother of the bride. I loved the quality of the skirt and the amount of layers of tulle it has. The skirts aren’t too full that it is overbearing, but it has enough tulle that it isn’t flat and I didn’t have to wear a slip (which I was really happy about since the skirt was white). They offer 57 colors for their bridesmaids attire, making it easy to match any wedding color scheme.
For the photoshoot we thought what better place to wear a tulle skirt than a fancy, dolled up, tea party with your girlfriends? The furniture, decor, and tea sets were all done by the amazing Emily from Ivy Lane Events. I was obsessed with the way she decorated perfectly and included so many amazing details. She rents out for parties, events, weddings, and basically anything you would need amazing decor for. She has such an eye for decorating and I highly recommend using her services. Mention this blog post and you can get 10% off your rental.
Our incredible photographer was Charissa from Charissa Lee Photography. I love the way she captures the candid moments and small details, which in turn creates the overall feeling of a photoshoot. She does such a great job of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and I love working with her.
