Every year I love sharing my favorite Fourth of July outfit ideas with you because I feel like everywhere I look it gets harder and harder to find cute, stylish and modest Fourth of July outfits. There are either posts with short shorts or tank tops, and that just isn’t for me! So today I’m rounding up my favorite modest Fourth of July Outfit Ideas to help you sport a cute look you can feel proud of this year.

Be sure to check out my previous Fourth of July Outfit Idea posts here and here. Some of the items may be unavailable, but the outfit ideas are still relevant!

Denim on Denim

I bought this denim skirt 3 weeks ago and have been obsessed ever since. I love it hits right above my knee (because I am short at only 5′ 3″) instead of drowning me. I decided to pair this cute red stripe shirt with the denim jacket and a pair of converse for a casual, summer night feel. Don’t forget to add the polka dot bow. I bought mine for $12, but just found a super similar one for only $2! I really missed out on that opportunity huh? haha

Hoodie and Shorts

Every year I spend my Fourth of July in the mountains, so having a cute hoodie or sweatshirt is essential. The mornings and evenings get chilly. I’ve worn this red stripe hoodie for the past 3 years and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I love the fit and feel of it too. You can see me try it on in my stories here.

I add a casual stars and stripes shirt underneath in case during the day I want to tie the hoodie around my waist when it is warmer.

White Blouse and Hat

Sometimes it is easier to just use items for holidays that you can wear other times during the year, which is what this next outfit is. I love a good white blouse with jeans. Add a hat for an added touch or throw on a cute red scarf around your neck or in your hair. If you are feeling extra fun, tie a red bandana in your belt loop for a fun pop that only costs $1.

Overalls and Lace

When I did my Fourth of July try on, this was the most popular outfit and I can see why. I love wearing overalls, and dressing them up with this cute white lace shirt was fun and unique! It is long sleeved, but because it is lace it is really breathable. I’ve worn it during the summer so far this year and on the cooler days I’ve been totally fine! I paired it with my polka dot hair tie again and added converse, but you could also wear a pair of white slip ons or wedges. The red wedges posted below would be the cutest addition to this outfit.

Red on Top, White on Bottom

I love this classic red and white outfit. This tee shirt is the same tee that I wore with my denim skirt, and funny enough my friend Jensyn wore it with a pair of overalls the other day. I wore it with a pair of white moto jeggings, but it would be adorable with some white modest bermuda shorts as well. Add some wedges and a cute hat and you’ve got a really cute Fourth of July outfit.

Denim Dress and Flag Scarf

I bought this denim dress last year and loved wearing it toward the end of summer and the beginning of fall. It was really versatile and easily able to change styles based on the season. So when I found a really similar dress for only $15 because it is currently on sale, I knew I needed to show you how to style it for the Fourth. I added this flag bandana from Target dollar spot, but I’ve seen similar bandanas at the dollar store too. I paired it with these brown sandals, which I just found out are sold out in the brown color unfortunately. I’ve linked some other cute sandals though.

Blue Stripe Button Up

This was a simple outfit, which I normally don’t do, but I ended up really liking it. I did a simple blue stripe button up with some jeans and wedges. If you aren’t one to over dress for a holiday and still want to look nice and put together, this is the outfit for you.

Plaid Red and White Shirt with Jeans

I love this shirt because it can be worn for the Fourth of July, but also can be worn anytime during the summer. It reminds me of summer days and picnics. This one is sold out, but I found a similar one with a fun button back (that I love) for you below.

Stars and Stripes T Shirts

I think my favorite look for the Fourth of July is just a simple stars and stripes or USA tee shirt. It feels classic and easy, which is what I feel when I think of this holiday. Check out some of my favorite stars and stripes shirts below.

Red Dress – Styled 4 Ways

I did a try on the other day where I shared this dress and 4 different ways to style it. I love that it can be worn all summer, but also is the perfect colors for the Fourth of July. Head here and go to “styling” highlight to see the try on.

Polka Dot Pants and A White Blouse

When I tried these pants on the other day I knew that someone needed them for the Fourth of July. How cute would this be paired with this white blouse, those red wedges and a cute headband? I can already see you getting a million and more compliments!

Which was your favorite look I styled this year? Was it the overall outfit that was the most popular on my stories, or something else? Let me know in the comments! Then head here and here to check out my other Fourth of July outfit inspiration.
