Anyone else obsessed with Pinterest as much as I am? It is so fun to scroll through an endless amount of outfit ideas and hopefully one day recreate it myself.  My cute blogger friend, Chelsea of Tessa Marie, and I are sharing our recreation of one of our favorite Pinterest looks.

We found our outfit inspiration from Sequins & Things.  You can check out her original blogpost here.

I loved the idea of taking inspiration from another blogger, but making the outfit unique to me and my style.  I loved the look of a cute and stylish white top with the black pants and brown purse and was excited to find some fun items from my own closet that went perfectly together for this recreation.

My top is from Mindy Mae’s Market and I love the blue stitching around the outside.  It helps to add a touch of uniqueness and style for those days where you need a cute white shirt.  It was one of those shirts that as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it.  Unfortunately by the time I convinced myself it was okay to buy it (I have some serious buyers anxiety)….they were all sold out.  I was devastated and began searching other boutiques only to find no more small’s available.  Luckily they’ve been restocked and I was able to buy one! Seriously though lesson learned! If I love it at first sight, I just need to buy it.

The black pants are my go to skinny jeans from American Eagle.  The day they start to have holes to the point I can no longer wear them, that will be a really sad day.  The shoes were some old sandals that I found in my sister’s closet the other day.  I love being able to share clothes with her.  For my accessories, I added a watch and my favorite Alex and Ani bangles.  I wear them everywhere, but they are my all time favorite piece of jewelry.

To complete the outfit I began to look for a big brown purse.  When I realized I didn’t have one I was a little disappointed, because I loved the way the blogger styled the outfit with the purse.  Then my new favorite clutch caught my eye and I realized that I didn’t need a brown purse, because I had a leopard clutch, and that was definitely better. The quality is amazing and I love the strong magnet that holds the fold over closed.  It has a zipper to the main compartment and also right under the fold over for an extra small pocket.  Seriously major heart eyes for this clutch you guys! I take it almost everywhere and I’m not even sorry about it one bit.

As always my fabulous photographer was Charissa Lee Photography and I can’t give her enough praise for the job she does for me.  If you haven’t booked her for your next session yet, you need to right now.

Make sure to check out the way that Chelsea wore it as well over at Tessa Marie and show her some love.
