I had been wanting to try the sweater skirt set trend for awhile now, and when I saw this set from My Sister’s Closet Boutique I knew it was the one I wanted hanging in my closet. The color is beautiful, the fit is perfect, and the ideas of how to style these pieces together and separately kept flooding through my mind. So today I want to show you how to style this sweater and skirt set together and separately.

Style #1: Style The Pieces As A Set

This is how the set is suppose to be styled, but even together there are still endless possibilities. You can tuck the shirt into the skirt, do the french tuck (as shown here), or leave it out to show off the beautiful scallop detail.

Style #2: How To Style The Skirt Alone

The reason I love this set is because you can style the pieces together or separate, which makes purchasing both seem much more doable and worth it. I paired the skirt with a simple T shirt that I tied at the bottom to bring in my waist. I also paired it with a simple white bodysuit (also purchased from My Sister’s Closet) and a denim jacket.

Style #3: How To Style The Sweater Alone

I paired the sweater with a pair of white jeans and it really made the blue color pop even more. This would be perfect for those summer days. It would also look cute with a light wash pair of blue denim. I also decided to pair it with another pencil skirt, to show the endless dressed up possibilities.

What was your favorite way I styled this set?
