So……WE MOVED! WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! (I had to write that in all caps because I am THAT excited about it!) There will be a whole post about the process and the actual house really soon, but until then I wanted to write about our move in. Our house is pretty cluttered right now, which is stressful for me because I love when everything has its own place. Luckily I’ve been able to move all the boxes to their respective rooms and this weekend I can finish unpacking. We moved in over the weekend and because of the LDS General Conference we didn’t have as much time during the day to move in.
The first night that we were in the house I was shocked. I honestly couldn’t even believe we had bought a house. I kept telling Kyle that this was unreal. The next night I was more excited and things were starting to seem more real. This was really my house….this was OUR house. Say what!?!?! Now everyday when I get home I can’t help but turn to Kyle and say “This is OUR house! Welcome to your home! Don’t you LOVE our house?” You get the idea, I am really excited about the house!
The home felt like ours, but it was still weird trying to adjust to where everything was. The hallways, light switches and corners are not second nature to me anymore like our old apartment. This is where Motion Activated LED Lights came in handy. They have three different types of lights that I was able to test for my new home and they have been extremely useful. I even love the look of each one for different reasons, which for me, is an important feature.
We put one in our main hallway upstairs, one in our master bathroom, and one in the kitchen downstairs. It was nice to be able to have three different lights for each area to help me see better. I also love that they are motion activated so they aren’t always on and then I don’t have to search my walls for the light switch. Please tell me I’m not the only one that does that? They do stay on for 45 minutes and then time out so that it isn’t wasting any energy. I also enjoy how easy they are to plug in. Seriously it is THAT easy! Just plug it in and you are done. It has been so nice to have these lights while I am getting use to the layout of my house. No stubbed toes, searching for light switches, or falling down the stairs.
To help all of you light up your house this fall, I am hosting a giveaway where you can win a $200 Amazon Gift Card to help you buy some of these Motion Activated LED Lights for yourself. Use the form below to enter and good luck! #Light4Night
