There is a song by Kacey Musgraves called “Follow Your Arrow” that I’ve always loved.  If you’ve haven’t heard it you can listen to it here. I find the meaning behind the song interesting because it discusses how our world has turned into a society of judging one another for believing what we believe.  I think the term “Follow Your Arrow” is a beautiful reminder to be who you are.  I love what Population Now said “The bravest thing you can do is be yourself!”

There is one thing I have learned from blogging that will always hold a special place in my heart and that is to try your best and don’t let other people’s negative comments get you down.  If you are trying your best that is all you can ask for.  Not everyone will like what you have to share, but why not share it anyway if you like it?

When I found this shirt from Population Now I fell in love with the gold arrows and it immediately reminded me of this song. We have now teamed up to give you the chance to win one of these inspirational Follow Your Arrow tees for yourself. You can enter over at my Instagram account @teach.shop.love or click here.

Charissa Lee Photography is amazing when it comes to helping me create my vision for a photoshoot.  For this shirt we decided to hike up to Ensign Peak to share the meaning of following your own arrow and heart.  I love how the pictures turned out, especially the wind.  I will admit the wind was making me nervous with how the pictures would turn out because my hair would not cooperate, but after seeing the final products I felt the wind ended up enhancing the idea of our shoot.  I’m not even going to let the wind get me down! 😉
