Today I am so excited to be teaming up with some of my favorite bloggers to share a variety of Valentine’s Day outfit ideas. Click on their pictures to see their outfit details along with their tips for dressing up for Valentine’s Day.
This year I decided that instead of going with the pink and red outfits or specific Valentine’s Day shirts, I would take my “everyday” shirt and turn it into an outfit you could wear for your day out on Valentine’s Day. This “everyday restyling” is going to be part of a series I do once a month, where I take an item from my closet (my friend calls it shopping her closet) and I show you how to restyle it to make more use out of it.

I was sent this shirt from My Sister’s Closet Boutique to show you how you can make any outfit perfect for Valentine’s Day. What I love about this shirt is that you can wear it all year long and in a variety of ways. I’ve worn it underneath a denim dress, with jeans, and with a pink skirt.
HOW TO RESTYLE FOR VALENTINES DAY: My advice would be to find a neutral black, gray, or white shirt in your closet and then add pops of red or pink for your Valentine’s Day outfit. That’s exactly what I did here. I wore black and then made sure to wear my pink purse for the pop of pink. I’ve also worn it with red or pink heels for a more date night look.
What are you going to wear for Valentine’s Day this year? If you need inspiration I’ve created a whole look book with outfits for every Valentine’s Day plan you may have including day wear, date night or even Galentine’s Day party. You can read that here.
Don’t forget to pin your favorite image and share the love! I appreciate it!
