Fall outfits have always been my favorite (you can view my post about fall layering outfits here).  Today I want to share with you a way to make a dress ready for the fall season.  This dress is from Twirl Dress Boutique in Bountiful, Utah.  Since I live so close to Bountiful, I was able to go visit the store while I was looking for a fall dress.  When I walked in they had Taylor Swift playing and if you know me, you know that she is my jam, so immediately I was loving life.  The cute girl who was working was so helpful and walked around to help me find something I was looking for.  She gave me a few different suggestions and when she showed me this dress at first I was iffy about it.  I didn’t feel like it was my style, but I thought I’d try it on anyway.  I had thought I was going to fall in love with a black dress I saw, but after trying on this fall dress, I immediately knew it was the one! I had worn my burgundy hat and boots to the store, and after trying on the dress I decided to put the hat and boots with it…..best decision ever.  I have worn this dress to church without the hat and to a blogger friendsgiving party (which more pictures to come….yay) I went to last week, where I had so many compliments.  I think the hat and the booties make it the perfect fall outfit.  I also love the length and the fit.  It is more baggy than the dresses I normally wear, but I think it works great.  I have such a hard time finding dresses that hit my knee that are similar in style, so I was really excited when this one was long enough. Also they offer FREE SHIPPING on this dress, so if you don’t live close to Bountiful, you don’t even have to pay for shipping.  (Which I can’t be the only one who hates paying for shipping right?)

Twirl Boutique also sells modest prom dresses, which was fun to browse through, even though I didn’t need a dress! There was a high school girl trying on some of the prom dresses and it was fun to think back on my high school dances.  Why can’t we dress up for fun events every few months like we did in high school? Anyone with me on that?

This was my first photoshoot with the amazing Sadie Banks Photography.  She was so fun to work with and returned the photos to me within 4 days, which was great! She was professional, but super chill and I love how many photos she gave me.  I highly recommend her and can’t wait to work with her again.
