One of my favorite things about blogging has been all the amazing people I’ve met. The last month I’ve been able to meet so many of my favorite bloggers in person at different events and it has made this blogging journey even better.
My favorite photographer Charissa Lee Photography was one of the first girls I met from blogging and I am so glad. We’ve become close friends and I am so grateful that I met her. She planned a blogger meet up last month and today I am sharing all the fun of the event with you!
My dress was from Olive Ave Boutique and it is one of my all time favorite dresses. I bought it last year so they are sold out, but they have some new dresses this year that I’ve had my eye on that you should definitely check out if you need a dress.
The event was held at The Charcoal Loft in downtown Salt Lake City. It was a casual meet up with some food and photos and a great chance to meet local bloggers. It was fun to meet some of the bloggers who I had been following for months on Instagram, but never actually met in person. I love meeting Instagram friends in person so they can become real life friends.
The name cards were handmade by Lexie Faith Designs. How talented is she? She even made a print for each of us in our goody bags. Madelynne Noelle Makeup also gave us each a free makeup session in our goody bag and I can’t wait to work with her.
Let’s stop and talk about this amazing floral crown for a minute. White Lily Lane Florist did an incredible job with these crowns. I loved wearing it and it was fun that all of us received one. The flowers she used were beautiful and they were all expandable to fit to your head (although I still suggest using bobby pins to keep it a little more sturdy).
In between photos, eating, laughing, and talking about blogging, there were some giveaways that were happening as well. One of those (that I ended up winnning….YAY) was for a Instagram social media consultation with the incredible Kylee Wilson of Sociaal Grid.
This blogger bash was so much fun and I can’t wait for the next one. Charissa is planning another one for July and August as well. Let me know in the comments below if you want to come and I’ll make sure to get you the details when they become available!
