Polka dots have always been one of my favorite patterns.  When I was trying to decide on the theme for my kindergarten classroom I knew I had to incorporate polka dots.  Which, speaking of my classroom, I can’t wait to finally post my classroom reveal this summer!  So when I saw this amazing skirt from Tara Lynn’s Boutique I was really giddy.  Those big polka dots called my name and the way this skirt lets you twirl is absolutely to die for! If polka dots aren’t your thing though, this amazing skirt has many other colors and patterns to choose from.

Let me give you a few tips for purchasing this skirt.  I am almost always a size small, but this skirt is sized based on your height, so I went with a medium and it was perfect.  The waist band is 2 inches thick and is elastic, so it fits everyone.  Since I am 5’3” I could’ve gone with either size, but decided on the medium because I figured I’d wear heels and if needed could wear it higher on my hips.

We took these amazing pictures at City Creek in downtown Salt Lake City.  I’ve always loved going to City Creek and the water fountains are gorgeous, which made the pictures even more perfect.  My photographer was the amazing Ali from Sweet Cactus Photography.  I went to High School with Ali and so it was fun to meet up with her and catch up.  She is also super talented as you can see.  You can check out her website here.

I wore this skirt to church last Sunday and I received so many compliments with people wondering where they could get one for themselves.  Remember to use code “kellis” for 15% off and free shipping from your order at Tara Lynn’s Boutique. They have so many fun items.  I’ve posted a few different ones on my Instagram and I will be doing more blog posts with outfits from this cute boutique soon.  I always have a weakness for shopping, but especially when there is a discount! Anyone else feel the same way?  If so, happy shopping!

Disclaimer: I received this Chiffon Maxi Skirt from Tara Lynn’s Boutique to review.  All opinions are mine alone. I would never recommend a product to my readers that I didn’t truly love and use myself.
