saying i’m grateful to be their mom is an understatement. i’m so obsessed with them and feel extremely lucky that they call me mom. yesterday boston would tell me “happy mother’s day mommy” at least once an hour without any promptings and it was the sweetest.

as i was looking through my photos for the perfect mother’s day photo to post these just felt like the right pick. the trying for the perfect photo is not lost on us (even if we never get a good one we sure love a good try 🤪)….but i honestly love all the craziness that we captured here. i never thought i would post these, but it just seemed too perfect with how i feel. my life is full of fun imperfect daily adventures chasing these boys around and i love it. 🤍

one of the hardest parts for me of going from 1 to

one of the hardest parts for me of going from 1 to 2 kids was not being able to give all of my time to boston. i missed being able to give him all of me. splitting time and attention was a struggle, not because boston needed it, but because i so badly wanted to give everything to him as i had done in the past, but i couldn’t. things were different now. i had never heard anyone say that before. i felt i had heard a lot of other aspects that were hard with the transition, but never that you could struggle so much not being able to give everything to your oldest.
